		<description>Indeed the Mandriva 2010 is out :
http://wiki.mandriva.com/en/2010.0_Tour
http://wiki.mandriva.com/en/2010.0_Notes

Sorry, but you put very generic sentences that could applied to whatever distribution. Do you really review Mandriva ?

Some infos :
- OpenOffice.org 3.1
- Moblin support for testing purposes ( install the task-moblin package to test it. to log out, use power off button and ACPI support )
- Xorg at version 1.6.5 with nouveau + KMS support ( just select nouveau driver in XFdrake ). Ability to use Nvidia/ATI proprietaries drivers too.
- Ability to dump Mandriva ISO on an USB key : usefull for netbook or MacBook Air owner
- Nepomuk support to tag/rate and do desktop search under KDE : activate Nepomuk in KDE control Center.
- GNOME 2.28 + ability to test Gnome 3.0 gnome-shell UI ( cf instructions on Mandriva tour )
- Boot theming is now managed by Plymouth, like Fedora 12. Plymouth in Mandriva have support for non-KMS mode.
- kernel 2.6.31 ( USB 3 support, improved desktop interactivity, + ability to use ext4 at install for the partition ). cf http://kernelnewbies.org/Linux_2_6_31

As usual, the best thing is the Mandriva Control Center which allow :
- to share easily file with Unix or Windows workstations with 1-click ( diskdrake --fileshare )
- to configure a gateway with DNS/local relay DNS, NAT support, transparent proxy with 4 clicks ( drakgw )
- allow to enforce system security or do regular security checks to test system integrity ( msecgui )
- Allow to easily add NFS or SMB or Webdav mountpoints ( diskdrake --nfs, diskdrake --smb, diskdrake --dav )
- allow to reconfigure easily a graphic card and switch between Free -&gt; proprietary -&gt; testing drivers ( XFdrake )
