I have the Iomega Home Media Network drive working with Ubuntu 9.10 and Windowxs XP desktop systems and Ubuntu 9.04 and Windows Vista laptops across a combination of wired and wireless local networks.
The solution to see the unit for Ubuntu and probably other linux systems is described at :
http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread?t=1169149
I carried out all of solutions to Problems 1, 2 & 3, then it worked with Ubuntu.
My unit with firmware 2.04 runs quietly and gives no problems so far – 1 week.
Transfers to and from the unit are a little slow but of no great concern to me.

Does it come with Iomega's famous "Click of Death" feature? And if you have a lot of problems with it, will they compensate you with a coupon for more Iomega products?
