Raspberry Pi consumer purchases start tomorrow morning in EU
Raspberry Pi will be on sale to consumers from Wednesday morning according to Premier Farnell and element14, who also released an update to the pricing
The Raspberry Pi will finally be available to European citizens, as element14 plans to start taking consumer credit card orders on the morning of 28th March. For those without a calendar to hand, that’s tomorrow morning, and the prices have been updated as well to correct errors in VAT and international shipping.
Previously only businesses were able to buy Raspberry Pis from the element14 site, and shipping to Italy had been accidentally left out. According to the post on the Raspberry Pi blog, card transactions on the website will all be in British Pounds Sterling, and then converted by the bank.

While no time is given on when the boards will go on sale, after the rush on the original launch day you’ll probably have to be quick to be in with a chance of securing one.

yesssssssssssssss..
one to play around with, one to attach to the TV in my workshop in the garage and one later one when the Gertboard is ready and they have an educational program in place to get kids interested.
and it will STILL be cheaper than getting a new battery installed for my tablet!!!
