Linux Kernel 3.6.3 is out, upgrade now
Linux Kernel 3.7 may still be in development, but that of course doesn’t mean development has halted on 3.6.y, with an updated version out now
Development of the Linux Kernel is soldiering on, and even though 3.7 is still in the works, maintenance releases for past iterations are still coming out. As well as an update to 3.0.y, a new version of the current kernel, 3.6.y, has been released.
Linux Kernel 3.6.3 contains a large number of updates and bug fixes, including a few ALSA upgrades, a fix to ARM v6+ kernels, iscsi upgrades, and much more. As usual, Greg Kroah-Hartman highly recommends you upgrade if you’re on the 3.6.y series.
3.7 should be coming soon, and includes a few more features, such as the odd inclusion for Wii Balance Board support, among other things.

If I had another PC on Mint Maya I’d just do it, but with the whole family relying on just the one. I think I’ll just play it safe and wait for the Mint updates. Frankly, I’m just too much of a scaredy-cat.
