Hybrid cloud QStack coming from GreenQloud

Posted by Rob Zwetsloot

Green cloud provider GreenQloud has announced their new hybrid cloud solution in Qstack, enabling enterprise to control more of their cloud solution

GreenQloud is a cloud provider with a difference; the Icelandic company provides truly green cloud solutions that fully utilise renewable energy sources to create an excellent public cloud built upon open source technologies.

GreenQloud has announced today QStack, a brand new hybrid offering that utilises the strengths of GreenQloud’s public cloud software for a private infrastructure. It also allows enterprises the ability to migrate to GreenQloud’s public cloud, an advantage if they wish to go green.

QStack is built on Apache and includes other open source components such as KVM hypervisor, and supports VMWare among other third-party software.

Check out the GreenQloud site for more information on QStack.
