Fedora 20 out now

Posted by Rob Zwetsloot

Fedora 20 has been released. The Heisenbug marks the tenth anniversary of the distro, and finally makes ARM a primary architecture

After the huge amount of delays in previous Fedora’s, we weren’t expecting Fedora 20 to hit his side of Christmas. However, the dev team seem to have pulled it off and Fedora 20 has just been released. A bit late of the tenth anniversary, but Fedora 20 still acts as the anniversary release of the original Fedora Core.

This version hasn’t added a huge amount to Fedora – packages and desktops have been updated to the latest versions, with a focus on cloud and virtualisation in some of the bigger upgrades. ARM is also now a primary architecture, as ARM servers and products become more and more prevalent in the datacentre and consumer market.

You can grab the latest version of Fedora from the website, and experience Heisenbug for yourselves.
