I WOULD DEARLY LIKE TO LEAVE WINDOWS WAY BEHIND BUT I REQUIRE MY PRINTER SCANNER AND UNTIL I CAN GET DRIVERS FOR THAT THEN I AM STUCK I’M AFRAID
or help from them by telling me to go to the forum Hi It is I again to say that I have now left windows behind and I am using linux ubuntu 10-10 however i am having a little difficulty setting up evolution as my email program but I will get there non the less
I will say that it is without any help from your forum or for that master receiving any help from your techs. who have chosen to ignore my emails asking for their help.
Thanks to the builders of ubuntu 10-10 that I have managed to kick microsorft at least 90% out of my way and when I set my emails working I will be able to kick them out all of the way.
Again thank you for the ubuntu 10-10 lads and lassies who pu together this great sofware for the hard work it has taken for them to do so.
As you will have realised by now I will be staying with this o.s.
please keep up the excellent work that you are all doing and i wish that i was able to help but i am afraid at 70 yrs i am probably past it.
THANK YOU ALL
if you go to the epson web site they do have the drivers for your printer and scanner just go to the download page just copy and paste the link here and http://www.avasys.jp/lx-bin2/linux_e/spc/DL1.do
Hi there – to whom it may concern or interest. (payment issue)
- I would love to make a subscription. But what about incorporate more payment options?
We live in 2011and that means there should be a greater awareness of the security issues according to electronic payment.
I mean: Credit Card number AND security number are highly sensitive information and should never be given directly in any web-form, such as your subscription page.
No assurement that it is safe enough will convince everyone 100 %.
You have an option about enclosure of a cheque instead, and that is great. (But with high bank-fees).
- I believe more readers would make the step into subscription if we were sure about the security issues, and with more payment options to choose from.
In my case I have to pay GBP220 without subscription and GBP70 with subscription (Norway), so there should be a lot to save for us starving Linux Lovers…So why make the payment method an obstacle.
